As a Certified College Student...

June 16,2008 -- That day is my first day as a COLLEGE STUDENT!!! Oh Yes! I am now a 1st year college student. I am taking up Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Our Lady of Fatima University. I consider this course not only because it is in demand. It is because I want to pursue it to medicine once I graduate from nursing. Other people ask me why I didn't enter in the College of Medicine right away and then take some other para-medical courses like B.S Biology, Med-Tech etc. Initially, it is because taking up nursing,graduating as a nurse and be a registered nurse is being practical. I plan that after graduating from nursing and passing the board exam I will work first for at least 2 years and then pursue it to medicine. Probably an Ob-Gyne, Pediatrician or a Dermatologist.
Actually, studying at OLFU is not my first choice. The universities that i really consider for me to pursue the career i want are Ateneo de Manila University and University of Sto.Tomas. But, my mom and my sister consider OLFU for my college because it is more convenient(distance) than the other two.Besides, I might not finish my college here. It is because we're now fixing our papers to Canada. But for the mean time I will just enjoy studying and give my best shot.
